Admission Requirements
Students are admitted into one of Binghamton’s five undergraduate schools. Admission is competitive and selection criteria vary among the five schools. Decisions are based on the quality of the applicant’s academic record with an emphasis on the most recent academic work. Most students enter with a cumulative GPA of a 3.0 or better, with the School of Management and the Decker School of Nursing being the most competitive.
Transcripts and Additional Requirements
Official college transcripts are required from all schools attended following graduation from high school. If you have earned fewer than 24 college credits at the time of application, an official high school transcript is required. For applicants to the Decker School of Nursing and for EOP applicants, a Supplemental Admission Form (SAF) is also required (optional for all other applicants). If current semester grades are requested, mid-semester grades may be submitted using the Midterm Report. International and EOP applicants have additional requirements.
