Application Status Checker
If you don’t see it, don’t panic. Due to such a high volume of applicants, it typically takes 10 days from when you mail your material to when you will see it as received in our system.
Our Application Status Checker is a valuable and secure online tool for you to quickly obtain an update anytime about your undergraduate Binghamton application.
HOW TO ACCESS
- Once your application is electronically entered in our system, we will
email your Binghamton University User ID (BUID) to the email address stated
on your application. Your pin has been set to your date of birth in MMDDYY
format.
- You must have both your BUID and PIN to access.
- Enter your BUID and PIN exactly as provided (Note: Each field is case sensitive, so be sure to capitalize the “B” in your BUID.)
- If BUID is misplaced, call Undergraduate Admissions.

WHAT YOU CAN ACCESS
- Review personal information submitted.
- Verify receipt of all application materials to date.
- Identify materials required to complete your application.
- Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, there may be a delay of 10-15 business days for matching of all materials to your application.
APPLICATION REVIEW
- Only 100% complete applications are reviewed by the Admissions Committee.
- Should questions arise about your application, we will communicate with you via the email address provided on your application. Please be sure we have your correct and current email address. Should you need to correct or update your email address, contact us at: admit@binghamton.edu.
OFFICIAL DECISION
- When a final decision is made about your application, the decision will be displayed.
- Please note, you may want to review your application status in private.
