As Associate Director of Admissions, I coordinate the transfer application process. I have 14 years experience in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and prior experience with the Office of Campus Activities and student leadership programs. Because both my children are transfer students and graduates of Binghamton University, I do understand the special needs of the transfer student. We welcome transfer students and are working to make the transfer application process and transition as smooth as possible. We have a special transfer orientation, accept general education credits awarded at other SUNY colleges, offer campus housing for transfers and have a new chapter of Tau Sigma Honorary for 3rd year transfer students. Approximately 33% of our students are transfer students, and our transfer retention and graduation rates are among the best within SUNY.
