Welcome!
My name is Christopher Lewis, and I am an Assistant Director of Admissions here at Binghamton University.
I am here to assist you with any and all questions that you might have. The college search process can be a very stressful time, but there are ways to get through it. Talk with your parents (guardians), counseling offices, visit campuses, meet with admissions counselors, and ask questions that are important to you. When you walk onto a campus, take a look around, can you see your self being a student there? What major should you be looking at, or do I need a major as a freshman? Should I take the ACT or the SAT again?
Get the “real” facts about Binghamton, or better yet, come to campus. Come see why Fiske Guide to Colleges calls us “the premier university in the Northeast.”
At Binghamton University, we offer students many choices: six academic schools, more then 100 academic programs and over 200 clubs and organizations. Our students think outside the books, they just don’t bury their heads in them. You will have a world of new friends, literally; there are students from 99 countries and nearly every state in the U.S., and there are over 400 programs for you to study abroad and experience cultures and lands that you have only read or heard about until now.
I assist college-bound high school students residing in many different areas of New York State, but mostly students living in Westchester and Rockland Counties and the Hudson Valley region. I am also the liaison for students interested in applying to Binghamton’s Decker School of Nursing. The Decker School has 100% job placement rate and one of the highest pass rates on the NCLEX exam in New York State.
Finding the right fit is very important, so come and experience Binghamton University! Feel free to contact me with any questions you have. Good luck, come visit and apply to Binghamton.
